(A hisory of Reina Lailic)
Reina Lialic had a troublesome past that still haunts her to this day, she yearns for power and knowledge so she won’t let the things that keeps her awake at night ever happen again. She lost her mother to a war between the republic and the mandalorians when she was just 5 years old, her mother promised her that she would come back for her when the fight came out into the streets they were in,though she never did, and sealed this promise with a hug and gave her little girl a small journal that had her real fathers last name and crest on the rough red leather cover; Reina hates hugs and warns people to never make promises they can not keep because of this. Prier to her mothers death Reina was raised with her two siblings Ennasi and Rast before a jedi took Ennasi due to her being force sensitive and was the only sibling at home during the time. Rast was away with their adoptive father while Reina and her mother Sinnae was at the local healer, for Reina was sick at the time, the siblings had only been age 3. Because of this and events of Mandalorians waging a war on their world with some local jedi Sinnae split the remaining siblings by taking Reina away from their planet and to another where the same war was being waged to Sinnae’s horror. After hiding for days Reina was starving and missing her mother so she decided to come out of the alley way box her mother had put her in to find her, but instead of her mother she found something far worse; Slave traders and smugglers who came to the war stricken planet to sell and plunder what was left of it.The slave traders saw an opportunity in this small Echani girl and took her back to their ship where they could sell her on Tatoonie. On Tatoonie Reina was sold here and there for different kinds of jobs as she grew older until a local bounty hunter group known as the Red Sea saw her practicing some skills with an old blue rifle, she found in the trash, blasting some bottles, seeing that she was a really good shot for a rookie they offered her a chance to join them or remain a slave in this pitiful place. A preteen Reina accepted their offer tired of being mistreated by her masters and never getting a chance to vent out her anger on what happened to her family so she said yes and then on started the downfall of an innocent girl. She was just as mistreated as she was by her masters and this brought more frustration and anger within her each time she did a mission with her new crew. They would make her do the chores they didn’t feel like doing or they would use her as bait during their jobs , Reina couldn’t say or do anything to them knowing full well she was not at any level of power they held. She would find a place behind the local city of Tatoonie and begin practicing with her rifle she fixed up and occasionally she would use her martial arts abilities as well, one day she was hitting the air and by using her emotions she pushed a rock in front of her propelling it forward nearly hitting a man that was watching her with interest. The man would later go on to teach her a few things about pushing rocks by telling her she used the force and that if she continued on her path she could become a powerful force to be reckoned with only he never explained that she used the dark side of her emotions to use it; that she would find out later. Reina would come back every so often to listen to the man and learn a few basic things until he told her he wasn’t coming back after this session they were having which caused her to panic she wanted no needed to get stronger and find her family so when she told him this he only laughed in her face and told her to do that she needed to use her powers on others and stop being a nice little girl. She took this to heart and left him standing there with a new goal. When night struck at the Red Seas hideout she put a silencer on her blaster and killed all of the hunters in their sleep to prove she wasn’t going to let anything stop her from finding her family and protecting them she didn’t care if killing them in her sleep was a cheap shot it was their fault for underestimating her as all others have been doing. She vowed to never let anyone underestimate her again and she wasn’t going to be the nice little girl the man said she was. She took what credits she could find and boarded a ship to do what she dreamed to do, gain more power and find her family. Years past and Reina met the man on another planet, he revealed to her his name was Raeek and that he was quite impressed with her, he told her he knew what happened to her mother and that she died which caused Reina to cry in pain which in her heart she always sort of knew her mother died the day she left her. Raeek told her that if she used these emotions of pain, resentment and hate that she could achieve great power and that she should seek out a master to teach her the way of the Sith. Her heart was troubled by this one one notion she wanted more power but on another she heard of the Sith and how cruel they could be and she had doubts. She asked him how he knew of this and he only shrugged telling her not to worry and left her again only he never returned. Reina took his final words to heart and decided she would give into her dark desires so four years later, 18, she found a ride to some planet known as Viscara where she heard of a potential Sith master she could ask to train her. Along the way she found new friends such as John and a few others who has unintentionally swayed her to choose another path a lighter path. She admits to herself that she is troubled… is the dark side a path she should really choose? Each time she talks to them or she reflects on life and the wonders of everything it has to offer she slowly feels the shadows of darkness inching away from her souls core. Rast an Echani man who she found boarding Viscara had the same goals and idea; use the darkside to gain power and save your family started to ease the darkness back in. Later on they would both come to realize they were each others lost sister and brother and that they had another sister somewhere out there they needed to find only they had no idea if she was a jedi by now: she was not but that is another story for another time. They each fed into each others dark desires for power by bonding over wanting revenge they had each even learned the Sith language in hopes of impressing their future master if they find them. The struggle for light and dark wages inside Reina each time she talks deeply with either her friends or her brother, she knows one thing is certain: You cannot change the past just grow to never let it happen again.
