Aizha was born in a remote Ming Po ice fishing village on Carlac in the Outer Rim. She quickly developed an interest in the workings of machines and technologies like the ice drills used to create the fishing plots. Her force sensitivity became apparent at a young age, as she could figure out complicated logical patterns with ease. This talent expanded her understanding of electronics, allowing her to optimize and refurbish discarded tools.
As she grew up, so did her connexion with the force. Her senses expanded and she became aware of the flow and echo of the surrounding lifeforms. She could feel school of fishes through the currents and predict optimal fishing schedules for the village. By age six, she was able to channel enough of the ambient energy to produce sufficient force to move objects.
When she was sixteen, a passing Jedi noticed her presence and took interest in her abilities, intrigued by how she managed to navigate her way without proper training. Her connection to the force lacked purpose and appeared mostly instinctual, perhaps even wild. He told Aizha about other ways, about channelling the force through introspection, meditation, and self control. Before he left, he told her family he would be back after speaking with the Jedi Order, to take her with him, should she wish to. The Jedi never came back, and the matter was forgotten.
Aizha never really realized the weight of her talent before the incident. As youth’s love would have it, often woven tightly with pain, sadness, and regret. She never expected this gaping hole in her stomach, growing and feeding from this sorrow, whispering her to feed it more…demanding more. She never expected the coldness withing, as if trapped under a thick layer of ice, unable to breathe and in agony… The boy broke her heart…and she crushed his with a swift, meaningless, anger filled reaction. She felt good… empowered, even sating the gaping hole for a brief instant… But the whispers returned and demanded more, so much more…
The boy’s death passed as a tragic fishing accident, the ceremony was held within the village’s traditions and the families mourned their loss. Aizha was terrified, terrified that the truth would come out, terrified of herself and what she could do. She decided to leave Carlac, in search of help, someone who could help her properly channel her gift, and silence the whispers once for all.
She packed the little she owned, kissed her family goodbye, promising to return within the year and took the Czerka shuttle off to anywhere, as far away as possible from these memories. Her path led her to CZ-220, an asteroid station nearing Viscara, where she hoped to find who, or what she has been looking for.
