Approximately one month ago it was a bright day at the time in Veles down on Viscara. Down in that unusually dry day was an antique store holding all odds and ends. It unusual finds from the adventures around Veles, old junk from Viscara’s many battles, and even some odds and ends from the criminals who keep Veles’ underbelly intact.

Within the store was three customers and the store owner at the counter, the three customers spread among the store browsing away without a care in the world. One was a small child, who would barely be considered nine by looks alone, a male bothan and female zabrak in their early twenties, but not together. The two had been separated along the store. The owner was a fairly old Twi’lek whom seemed content on letting those present browse longer as he is in the middle of closing down the store for the day, the door mostly down to represent this.

Suddenly two chiss come in under the door, climbing under it to get inside lowering the door more as they enter. Immediately as they enter the owner looks over confused calling out to the two.

“We’re closed, what are you doing?” He announces to the Chiss.

One of the Chiss, a larger more bulky man walks over to the owner as he called out, seemingly in a hurry to get something, while the other puts down a brightly coloured bag. The Chiss with the bag was a lanky man who didn’t seem to be as well built as his partner but it did not matter, as he carefully pulled out a pipe from his bag waltzing over to the Bothan. A single finger motion was given to get the Bothans attention and with a swift motion the Chiss turns the Bothan around so he’s not facing the Chiss.

The big burly Chiss goes to ask the Shop owner a question however as he pulls out a piece of paper with something written on it. He places it before the shop owner before asking a question.

“You had this, where is it now?” The Chiss demands of the Twi’lek, moving the piece before the shop keep to get his attention.

“Whats the matter with you? I said we’re closed?” The Shop Keep inquires.

A loud bang is suddenly seen in the corner of their eyes as the lanky Chiss hits the Bothan on the back of the skull with the pipe knocking him out immediately. Blood coming out rather quickly from where he was hit. Confused the Zabrak goes to leave but can’t as she’s frozen in place by fear at the sight before her. The shop owner does what he can to find words at what he just saw buy the burly Chiss helps find his words by tapping the piece of paper before them.

“I sold it… Oh no… Oh no…” The shop owner says unable to finish his sentance.

“Who?” The burly Chiss responds requickly, the word asking a whole sentance in his stead.

Frantically the shop owner finds a small piece of paper or something to write on, going for whatever was laying around. He quickly searched the computer before him for the information to jot down. As he did the lanky Chiss waltzed over to his bag and kneeled down, pulling out a gas bottle of some kind with a breather on the other end. He then started to waltz on over to the Zabrak as the shop owner suddenly joted down the details to hand to the burly Chiss.

“That’s all I have! Honestly! That’s all the information they left me.” The shop keep stated to the Chiss, the fear in his voice matching his features.

Somewhat satisfied the burly Chiss looked over to the lanky Chiss as a sign, to which the lanky Chiss took in understanding. He turns on the gas bottle as he looks over to the Zabrak, about to reach out a hand to her as she recoils back in fear.

“Go… can I just go please…” The Zabrak inquires petrified.

“Not yet, it’s alright. This will just make you sleep is all.” He directs to the Zabrak calm and clearly.

“What…? Really?” She asks lowering her guard.

With a reassuring smile on his face and a firm nod he reaches in to place it against her face, covering so she can take the sleeping gas as he holds her gently to ease her fall to the ground. The shop keep watches on confused but somewhat relieved that the woman is okay. He looks back to the burly Chiss before him as another question is asked.

“Where is Nathir’maira’ducu?” He inquires firmly.

“Who… who’s she?” The shop keeper asks back, the confusion building in him as the woman is still being put to the floor.

“Where is Nathir’maira’ducu?” He inquires slower and with more authority.

“Is she a customer? If so I can f-f-f-find her, I-I-I can find her on the um…” the old man says with his nerves showing, stuttering in his basic sentences as the lanky Chiss with the gas can waltz’s over.

“Where is Nathir’maira’ducu?” is asked once last time by the burly Chiss.

“I-I don’t know… I-I-I’m thinking so hard… but I just don’t know.” The old man responds, shaking in place from the questioning.

The air goes stiff as the burly Chiss watches the facial features of this old man for signs, anything, but after waiting long enough he does a subtle nod to his partner. A nod was all it took for the gas to be turned on once more, going to place it to the old mans face as he too recoils back in fear but this time the lanky Chiss catches the back of his head firmly holding him in place as he slowly brings the gas canister to his face.

“It’s just gas. You’ve gotta sleep.” the lanky Chiss states in a relaxing tone, somewhat gaining enough trust for the old man to let him place it over his mouth.

The old man takes a breath or two as he’s being gentlty lowered to the ground by the lanky chiss as his eye catches the woman laying on the floor in the distance. Her eyes wide open, her chest unmoving. In that very moment the fear rises in the old man as he goes to pull this off his face but it’s too late, his breaths of panic inhale the gas quicker and quicker as he starts to suffercate. Leaving the lifeless old man on the floor the lanky Chiss waltz’s over to a corner, preoccupied with some piping on the wall that he starts to pull enough to cause a gas leak.

Watching somewhat stoicly the burly Chiss pulls out a small bag of chocolate treats, chewing on some as he asses the scene. His partner goes to collect their things from the scene as the burly one notices a boy hiding under some of the shelves. The boy sits there like a statue, unmoving in fear. Seeing this the large Chiss kneels down before the boy and offers out a treat for him. Slowly the boy goes to reach out and take the treat, bringing a faint, almost unnoticeable smile to the mans face.

“Don’t put the gas away yet.” The man calls out as he watches the child.

============================================

The next day there were several news reports of a gas leak that killed several people in an antique store. Tragically a young boy was present during the accident. No one can confirm how this accident happened but it was universally agreed to be one.

A blue Twi’lek watches on intrigued at the news as she enters a common room, the report headlines on a screen visible as day. She looks over to several Sith soldiers preparing for a battle of some kind, not many, enough for a small squad. One of the Sith notice the Twi’lek and salute her upon spotting her.

“Warrior Seela’vida we are almost ready to begin the operation.” The Sith soldier states.

Seela nods to the information as she goes to ready herself for her first mission on Viscara under her old mentors final orders. Looking down at a picture of her much younger at the dantooine enclave, along side a young girl with raven black hair and their two masters.
