One of the concerns I’ve had is that the lack of basic items for sale, while encouraging player interaction, also denies player progression should, quite simply, no one of the required craft and rank be on.
In particular this is a problem with weapons as the skill there far exceeds the rate that gathers and crafters can currently attain.
I believe we will need vendors that can sell very basic items, just having the levels on them and nothing else, so that if someone did feel like teching up their twin vibrobladeblastergrenades, and no one was about, they can make due witha shoddy weapon and seek out a player for a more specialized one.
