Broken Circle

Approaching Planet Uldthari.

Kairos opened his eyes, breaking from his meditation and looked up. It felt weird that he was almost home again. Much was still on his mind and bothering him, though he couldn’t figure out why it bothered him so much, and maybe that’s what was really wrong. It had been disturbing his meditation on the jumps from Mon Cala to this planet he’d decided to nname Uldthari. The time wasn’t the issue, however. It was the fact that, no matter how hard he tried, there were things that he couldn’t completely resolve in his mind.

Planet Uldthari… Ramp lowering. Please watch your step, Kairos Ward.

The planet was unchanged. Untouched. The air still felt clear and pure. A beacon of sanity. If it wasn’t so far away, he’d just move Monic and Meridian out here as well. Well, he still had Mon Cala and, whenever the Phantoms could get their new base up and running, hopefully they’d have a home there.

He looked out and chuckled. “FR-MR! What are you doing?”

A droid, near a home of carefully carved stone, looked up, knocking over the stones that it had begu to stack. “Ah! Creator Ward. It is good to see you again. The plants are doing quite well, in this location. There is a great deal of rain, from time to time, however what you planted seems to greatly enjoy that. Admittedly I was not expecting to see you for another few cycles! Did something occur, while you were gone?”

Kairos nods his mood souring. “There’s just…” He sighs. “There’s… Don’t woorry about it Farmer… I’ve gotta go and… get some training in…” He sat down, near the fields and concentrated, eyes closing and began practicing the latest technique in purification he’d learned.
