Combat skills seem lacking, I like the idea of the stances but I think they should be made into Skills.
For instance we could have
Defensive Fighting Style.
First is trading away AB for AC obviously, with later levels increasing AC gain, well idealy giving a better return on ab loss. Then add in abilities unique to the style, such as.
Flinching blow, make an attack on the enemy, if it hits, the enemy suffers negative AB for six seconds.
Parrying, lose more AB to Gain more AC temporarily.
Shield Other, Give a nearby ally a bonus to AC, and take half the damage they recive.
ect.
Two Weapon Fighting Style
Two weapon fighting is the big draw here, but since that scales they should gain a bonus to damage for one round on their off hand weapon if their main weapon hits.
Risky Strike, lose ac to gain ab.
Quick Strike, make an attack immediately with your offhand weapon.
Two handed style
Two handed combat is already pretty strong, for a scaling bonus I would say something along the lines of a very small ac buff, since it really doesn’t need more damage.
Rising Strike, Bonus on damage for one round.
Crushing blow, attack with a save vrs knockdown.
There is more that could be done, this is just a shot to see if people like the idea, I think it would be good to give more skills people really want to make the choices harder for what to pick up.
You could also add in special styles for unarmed, and different light saber forms. Obviously these would also all have cool downs like the force powers, but I also think it would be good to just give cool things other people can do without the force.
