The smell of rust invaded his nose, at age seven he understood little of the world and the universe, an orphan, he always struggled to survive. There was a deafening sound just above where he was, ship thrusters, crossing that huge iron valley, damaged ships and droids, the boy looked up curiously, ran after the ship that wasn’t far from where he was, realized that there was a hooded one, it wouldn’t be interesting if it wasn’t for an r2 model android on the side, it was a model that caught my attention, he even tried to put the pieces together to assemble one, it was a smart young man, the hooded one, who traded with a scarvenger , when Dominic tried to get closer, but something happened, an invasion of his mind, a strange feeling came to him, it was as if he could see who that man was, a Jedi, warriors and peacemakers, he had heard stories, they spoke of their Great skills, but he wasn’t the only one, when he realized the man had detected him, Dominic tried to hide, jumping onto a small platform ahead, but with the weight, an iron platform collapsed, sending him toppling forward onto a twisted iron cliff, with a grinder working incessantly at the bottom. His death would have been certain, if not for something that instinctively filled his body, throwing him forward, rolling a few meters, raising dust, the boy had his head in his hands, and was lying on the floor, opening his eyes, just he could see the jedi’s feet, the man bent down and put his hand on the boy’s head, Dominic closed his eyes in fear, the scavenger began to shout a few words, walking towards the boy, a few seconds later the man’s hand being raised, made a calm gesture, which calmed the scavenger.
“Ben Kane is my name boy, I feel a strong connection to force with you, do you want to come with me and learn in the ways of the Force?”
It was the question the Jedi asked. That vision of the man, with his hand turned towards him, stayed in the boy’s memory, it was a rescue of the life he led, now it was seen around small children like him, around a small arena, wide enough to hold as five children were at the scene, the platforms began to move quickly…
“Don’t just stand there kid, it’s good to start moving.”
