Hard work pays off: or, Everything worth it in life is difficult:

You may scoff but some don’t start out perfect.
Some of us are neither Jedi nor Sith.
Some of us aren’t interested in power but in self-control.
Some of us struggle our way through life. I think most people do and just fake being experts all the time.
Obviously a beginner doesn’t know everything starting out.

I have issues with anger during when I go through withdrawals.
I am fighting drug addiction. Chemical dependency isn’t a joke.
Working on those issues to improve is the trick.

I think though, even though some days are better than others,
that on the whole things tend toward gradual improvement.

Then I got told to shut up, that I complain and joke too much by several people at once. I felt negativity wash over me but let go of the hurt and the anger. It’s a good trick not being slave to your emotions and choosing how to respond to verbal barbs. Much better than spinning.
