PROTESTS AT NICKEL ONE
There have been reports of odd protests coming out of Nickel One in the Roche asteroid field. Groups of verpine citizens have frequently been coming out in protest of the wookiee enslavement being commited by Czerka, on Kashyyyk. The protests are fairly small and localized, however, and serve no real threat even within the capital itself. While not entirely in favour of the protests, local authorities at Nickel One aren’t doing much to quell the protests due to the generally peaceful nature of them. When asked about these protests, Czerka had no comment, but it doesn’t appear they are much concerned with it in any way.
CONTINUING PLAGUE ON TARIS
While it’s been going for years now, the rakghoul plague in Taris’ Undercity still shows no sign of slowing down. Despite the best efforts of many of Taris’ best scientific minds, a possible cure is still nowhere in sight as more and more people are ravaged by the disease, daily. For those viewers unaware of the dangers of the disease, it’s origin is unknown, but those infected with the plague slowly mutate and become monsters who only seek to kill and spread the plague further. Those who have encountered a rakghoul and have been bitten or scratched are advised to seek the nearest quarantine.
SERIAL MURDERS ACROSS THE GALAXY
Recently, there have been an odd number of cases of murders in places all across the galaxy. But you may be asking why such distant killings may be related? Well, officials in various systems where the victims were discovered realized there was something in common between them. A symbol appearing like a “B” from the Aurebesh alphabet carved into the side of their neck. It’s unknown at this time what it’s meant to mean, however. Another thing of note is that the victims were generally found with others. Due to the investigation being ongoing, there isn’t much more we could get at this time. We’ll keep you posted about our findings, however.
