Normally when people are working aboard a space station or freighter they have some experience planeside. Not so for one young woman. Never knowing of her father, she was rumored among the crew to be likely the unwanted child of what was likely an inappropriate workplace relationship. But as with many commercial vessels everyone does have to earn their keep.

Knowing more about the ins and outs of a ship, anything could be read up on with local news and politics always on a cluster’s transmitter. Her mother was ever cautious, insisting that staying on the ship was always going to be the safest choice. So up until recently she’d only ever observed worlds from the safety of a duraplast viewpoint if not through a digital imaging screen. It didn’t help that on one shuttle venture to the surface of Nal Hutta a deal apparently went wrong and she was one of the crewmembers that were captured or killed, nothing was ever confirmed. Cementing her fears, and with a deal gone bad and the smaller transport business collapsing financially she found work with the Czerka Corporation.

As she grew there would be little odd instances when the scattered objects near her bunk kept clattering whenever she woke up, much to the chagrin of those bunking nearby. In time the dreams of her mother’s voice grew too strong for her to ignore. Caught between these deep cathartic dreams that called her away and her cemented fear of planets and those that dwelled on them, she let work be the means to fill that energy and to contain that emotion.

It was a fateful voyage that was necessary for a client, and enough pressure from her resting state that finally brought her to her first world. On a vessel that came to land on Trandosha, she had naturally been going through a whole myriad of anxiety and panic, even though this was a necessity of the job. Not long after touching down to unload the cargo the voices and calls she’d only heard at rest started to sound out. In a fit, she darted off into the wilderness. This eventually resulted in her capture, and near enslavement from the local Trandoshan peoples. This was when Nrrax stepped forth to vouch for her, using it as his own excuse to head off world.

As a companion to ease her fears, and also encourage her strength and instinct in going after things that she had felt they came to Viscara. Gradually she could ease herself back down to her second world in all her life, but at least not alone this time.

The calls were felt again, the shapes moving with many legs, and sounds of a longing song that caused local fears. She wanted to meet it, help it the way she needed help. Finding a place to feel strong once more and to belong. It would take time for her to understand the Force, but these were only the first steps…
