Mart Webber: Strained

Mart walks into his house and goes over to the table, flopping down on a chair with a sigh as he takes off his helmet and sets it on the table in front of him before getting out his datapad and turning on the built-in recorder

“Shade’s back. She’s back and I’m still no match for her.” He sighs “I doubt Beryn is anywhere close to being able to match her in combat prowess. Althea and Sandra are nowhere to be found. The only person who is on-hand to try and deal with her is me…and I can’t do it. The Jedi know she is back. The Republic knows she is back. I’m in way over my head at this point. All I can do is attempt to protect Callista, Ki Pi, Ashi and Iskellia from Shade’s grasp.” He looks down to his helmet a moment “Even if it ends up killing me.” He sighs again and shakes his head “Please come back, Sandra. I can’t deal with Shade without you. Why is it I have to end up dealing with these Lord-level threats head-on? I’m not overly experienced in the force. I can’t defend myself from force-based attacks. Yet I always seem to end up face-to-face with force-wielding Sith time and time again, and they just keep getting stronger. I just hope I end up surviving long enough for Sandra to return so we can get a better grip on this situation.” He turns the recording function off and sighs again, rubbing his face before putting his helmet back on and heading out of his house once again
