Angel is proficient with pistols and was to begin training in hand to hand combat. She is proficient in Droidspeak as well as Shyriiwook

Orders:

Recruit Remming has been dispatched to Viscara to assist in the relief efforts as well as proceed with basic training and is at the disposal of the Republic of Viscara until further notice. Recruit Remming is expected to arrive at 1900 hours on Viscara and begin planetary examination and review until summoned by a superior officer.

Data journal Entry 001

I have landed on Viscara at 1900 hours as ordered, this planet is very strange though most of the locals seem fairly decent. So I will start with cataloging discoveries.

  1. Chiss - A race of blue skinned humanoids similar to Pantorans with an eye infection, their eyes glow red though they seem to be generally friendly. One even serves the Republic as a Private. Formerly of Corellias Corsec Police force. She seems nice enough.

  2. The planet has Jedi presence, I have met one of their Knights by the name of Sandra. Seems friendly and open to working together. As I would no doubt expect of a Jedi.

  3. There appears to be some tensions between the Republic and some of the local adventurers. Apparently one of the Republic officers had screamed at them for helping save the lives of some of our members. It has created some distrust and discomfort.

  4. Cannibal Vellens - This is most alarming that such a monstrous group is still thriving here. Hopefully contained within their facility and closely monitored. Since they could be a threat if they escape.

  5. Mandalorians - There is apparently two separate groups. One is in a facility in the woods which I have located and appear to be a local threat, the other is a group led by a man named Mart who is apparently an ally of the Republic? Something to definitely consider.

  6. Sith are an active presence here though their attacks are few and far between, definitely not a prime focus here on Viscara, but enough that they still cause trouble. Definitely worth looking into.

Data journal Entry 002

Met with Lower Councillor Rowler Majuka who mentioned being the Captain of the Skyhawk, apparently a personal vessel often mistaken for a military ship. Seems an alright man, if a bit hopeful that the war is between the Republic, Jedi and Sith, though really and sadly it effects everyone.

I have been making progress in martial training and working on getting better gear soon. I have been advised to the Cathar present named Kho, though advised also to bring supplies and such and that he will likely help. I will work on such for him. Duties will proceed as scheduled.

Data journal Entry 003

Still no contact with the Republic, I hope things are okay. I have secured an apartment within the colony at Private Molaars suggestion and he and another helped me set it up with some basic furniture and chests for storage. My training has proceeded well and I am fully into the swamp now training, I have unlocked the Mandalorian facility but they are still a bit advanced for my training, so I will need to continue working and try and find someone to help me with gear. Kho has been suggested but I have not been able to find him yet to speak to.

Things so far have been quiet otherwise, getting to know people and the daily ins and outs of Veles, though I have been advised to not speak too openly of being Republic. There is concerns Czerka or even the Sith may try and muscle us out or permanently end the issue. A note I have made for myself for sure. Will have to see what Command says when and if they respond.

Hopefully one of us hears back soon so we can get things going…

Data Journal 004

Seems Mr Khan is no longer taking personal orders for equipment, meaning no gear on that end. Which is rather unfortunate. Things are slow and little is moving in the way of the Republic. If I had not heard from the locals that the Republic is here, I might not believe there was actually an outpost here. Hopefully my colleagues and I will hear from the Republic soon.

Tran - One to be watched as he seems to have a great fascination with bribery, grenades and an attempt at political power. One like him could be dangerous to the safety of the locals and more so with the Sith apparently around.
