The recent lag has to do with merchant stores not cleaning out often enough. I’ve addressed this by introducing a hard clean every hour (to be released with today’s update). Restarting the server will likely always be necessary at least once a day, but I’d rather address the reasons for the lag rather than increasing the number of restarts.
