Sandra returns to her ship and sighs heavily. Despite the wishes of Callista and Rowler to brighten the mood and the day, it ended up flicking her cord finally.
She walks over to her table and picks up an opened datapad, one that’s not very useful anymore, and throws it hard into the wall. It shatters into a fair bit of pieces and she lets out a calming breath.
“All everyone talks about is Ira. I can’t get a decent day without her name and madness being thrown in my ears. I don’t even care about what her day to day is and yet she’s a bloody thorn in my side. Even in the intimate moments I have with Callista, one of our topics always has to be Ira and the near insane obsession she has with Callista. It is of great frustration!”
She tugs on her hair a bit and sighs in annoyance before going to sit down and crosses her legs and arms. The foot taps in the air as she ponders… the days all on account of Ira’s illness. Sandra pours a glass of Rowler’s fine drink and tries to let the aromas soothe her. The glass is rolled gently and the air is filled with the wondrous scents. This helps a little before she resumes her inner monologue.
“Aside from the constant frustration of having to hear about her every day like it’s my problem to solve, I cannot even enjoy a day out without keeping her on my mind. Markus and Callista’s time is spent babysitting this lass. It is coming to the point where I think of Ira when I see Callista and this… upsets me. I don’t know how much more I will stand before I am tempted to do something myself. I’m so tired now…”
Sandra takes a small sip of the liquor and sets the glass down. The flavors are pleasing to her tongue and offer a measure of calm. She gets up and considers doing something she’s been a few weeks without… proper Meditation. She remember’s Keyan’s words and now seems like a good time to take them to heart. She goes over to the mat and sits cross-legged. Slowly she leaves the universe and enters a realm she has missed… a realm of such calm and peace. There is a whisper in her mind.
“There is Only The Force…”
