Sandra Mana: Escape

Sandra runs around the block as her ponytail swings in the air. The running helps keep her mind calm usually, but there is too much. She suddenly runs faster…faster…faster and she shouts out in frustration as she reaches her top speed. It is only a moment later where she goes to bend over and press a hand against a wall in exhaustion.

Sweat drips from her face as she pants. A flash of anger takes her as she flashesback suddenly, but she tries to keep the moment instead of just letting it run rampant. Keep it as a reminder as Artemis said. Not to push it away or resist.

She flings her ponytail back and looks up at the gray sky. She suddenly recalls the moment of tea with Artemis and then the moment with Zain and Sylia, and the time Litii and Teh visited her. The rage subsides for now and Sandra pants with exhaustion. Sandra tugs at her shorts a little and begins running again.

She runs by the tower and stops a moment as she recalls the moment of the splatter rather vividly. She takes off and puts all she can into the running before coming to a stop infront of the medical center. Sandra kicks a rock far ahead.

The people that walk around her are perhaps oblivious to the redhead who stands in the middle of the street. They move around her like a river. Sandra begins to walk forward and just walks until she reaches the end of the street.
At the street’s end, she grasps her dire feelings firmly and instead of basking in it like usual, she harnesses it and lets it be. Like a hornet captured and then properly let go to continue existing, but not a danger.

A hand runs through her long ponytail and walks back home. Sandra sits and meditates for 2 hours and opens her eyes. Things are…easier now. Though she still occasionally still gets her Anxiety attacks, she now understand how to manage these new emotions. She sighs a little and runs her hands along her legs as she ponders on the past few days. Then more so on her need to train as Artemis suggested, so she resumes doing so, at least to mask the urge to think on the pain.
