On Onderon at the Summer Villa of Princess Saniele’s Kira family.
“It feels like this place was made in a dream and made real. It’s hard to describe the sensations here outside of homely and spectacular. It’s like going back in time so many years and then paused at this natural sanctum of a place. How she got a favor from the Princess is spectacular as well.”
Sandra wanders the dirt road out back and looks at all the glamorous flowers all about. They glimmered with soft water droplets from the morning dew and the light from the sun provides a brilliant back drop. This place was…perfection. It’s only in the last day or so that she started seeing the faces of the dead, less, and while she didn’t immediately mourn for them, she felt the weight of their losses.
Lost in this beautiful landscape, she can’t help but create the slightest of smiles as she looks up to the light peeking through the garden. An hour later, the sunset begins to shine over the back of the Villa.

13 year old Sandra as she walks up to her Master who is watching a sunset
“Master, are you staring at another sunset…?”
“Connecting with the intrigues of nature is what we do as Jedi. Not only as a way of bonding with the Force and life, but for peace, calm, and relaxation. This is something I am fond of doing. It is especially important to find inner peace in a time of war too. There will be much loss and pain for many people through out the galaxy, little one.”
Sandra looks to the sunset with her Master and after a few moments, asks gently…
“You’re the only one who really understands me. You won’t leave me alone, will you…?”
“You’re never alone, Sandra. The Force is always with you and thus, I will always be with you. When I leave this physical galaxy, I’ll watch you and see you grow. You’ll become a valiant Knight in time. You have a big heart and an extreme compassion for all around you, even if all of that doesn’t see that you are there. You can be the silent guardian in a time where being loud and boisterous is common. Besides, you’re a smart woman, you’ll be okay if you just remember your training and our time together.”
“I’ll do my best, Master. Even if I have to be a little sad.”
He looks over and lays a heavy hand on her head. She gruffs at the weight and looks up at the twi’lek man. He smiles warmly and gives her head a small shove. She huffs and puts her hands on her hips
“I …I’m being serious! You…”
“Always so serious. Relax, enjoy the simple things in life, let go of the bindings you hold and just… look at the sunset. That’s all you have to do sometimes. Nothing exists except for you and…that scene over there. Worry not for these deep attachments or you’ll find yourself distracted, only gazing at the ground before you, minding your single steps. Instead, let it go, and look forward, or UP even! There is where you’ll see the wonders of our reality and you’ll come to appreciate it, even when you look down.”
“I will do my best to comprehend your blabbering, Master.” she taunts with a smile
“Good, girl! Now… look ahead.”
Sandra’s head is turned by the heavy hand to the Sunset. Her eyes water a bit as the waters are glazed with the burning passion of the scene and the skies that are heavily painted with the thick reds and purples and oranges that will remain in her thoughts forever more…
===================================
After watching a part of the sunset, she returns to the Villa, keeping her head a little higher than the last few days. Putting the thoughts and strains that had been instrumental in her defeat, and instead letting these moments away from reality be a reminder of what her first Master had shown her. The reminder that there were things she had to remember in order to be the Jedi that was needed to defeat a Sith.
She saw his face, laughter, mockery, teasings, and lessons a bit more deeply…
Despite being around Jedi so often, she’d really forgotten to take a lot of the old lessons deep to heart since she left. Sandra looks at the lovely ring on her finger and looks over at her love moving around in the Villa. It’s then she looks to the ring again and whispers to herself…
“…She’s how they’ll finally kill me, but you know… maybe it won’t be so bad, Master. Maybe i’ll get to see you and Varrec again. Maybe you’d say something like, i’m being too serious again, but I think I can relax a little if I lived happy for a while, like you wanted.”
There a sudden breeze and a she is ‘nudged’ as a step forward is made. She gasps lightly and looks behind her…only the red petals dancing about. She looks back up at the sunset again and returns to the villa with a smile…
