Spice, Fraud and Other illegal things

“You can’t just kick me out! I’ve still got at least three days left on the lease!” Cordelia said as she followed her land lord, a man likely in his fifties, glasses on, balding, rather pudgy yet he was fit himself. The man sighed and turned to her finally, addressing the young initiate.

“Listen here you Jedi Whore, I don’t give a womprats ass about what you think you paid, you come and go like some suspicious harlot, why should I subject my tenants to your monkish bantha shit!?” The man raised his voice, Cordelia’s usual nature causing her to withdraw a bit as she’d start being subjected to the mans insults. “It’s not my fault you high and mighty Jedi think you can live anywhere you please just because the republic thinks you’ll save them from every problem, you’re just a little girl dreaming in the clouds while us adults have to clean up the mess you leave behind! Now get out before I throw you out!”. Cordelia’s usual approach to being yelled at was very much the smart option as she started to just walk away, but she took a sniff of the air…the usual smell of Spice, and the small group of people who were clearly addicts in an open apartment. She knew the floors lay out and she was intending to come back.

The nights were always filled with her needing to spray fragrances throughout her home as the smell got pretty bad at night but it’d usually fade. Midnight was going to be where her opening was but this was going to take time no matter what her plan was. The Suspicious coming and goings were a worry as she didn’t know who was a potential guard and who was simply an addict.

She needed to inform someone so she did, a message to the Jedi council on Viscara, she told them her plan and that she didn’t want to drag them into it. Qy however would set her up with two sets of bugs and cameras. One set for her and the other for Griggs, her time on Viscara had seen her making friends with the rather blaster savy engineer and with the few weeks she spent out of that apartment she felt a bit more clear headed. She contributed this to the fumes of the spice, be it processed on that floor specifically or just so much being brought in at once she didn’t know but she walked Griggs through the plan, they were only going to be getting in, placing the bugs and cameras and getting out, even just one could provide enough evidence and she was informed Czerka wasn’t exactly an organisation of do gooders.

Soon the Night of this operation would come but for now, Cordelia bided her time training just in case she needed that extra knowledge for this stake out.
