As it currently is armours come with very specific mod slots depending on the armour type, I don’t mind that and it does keep each with it’s own benefits and the like, but it puts heavy armour at a significant advantage offensively compared to say light armours.
Perhaps it might be an idea that tier 3 light/force armours come with 3 of their default type plus one red mod slot still keeping the advantage to heavy armour but allowing a little more freedom. Heavy armour tier 3 could come with a prismatic slot so if they wanted to make use of a different type then all offense they could do so as well.
Perhaps tier fours fourth mod slot could be random chance between default type for that armour, red and prismatic mod slot to further make such interesting.
Just an idea in anycase.
