The Mandos at the Mandalorian base

You need to increase the aggro of these guys. You can beat (or shoot) the hell out of one and the others, standing like five feet away, just stand there as still as stumps, letting you do it.

C’mon, guys. They’re Mandos. They should be a little more dangerous than that, no? 8P

Just a suggestion.

Two points:

Questing, the Mandos in the mandalorian factory have been developed to be a challenge for characters of a certain level / amount of skills, and because of this, for many they become an easy way to train and get resources. This point looks ok, because is part of two npc quests and help people to train and grind, before exploring the deeply montains and other areas.

Second point: Lore and roleplay side, they are too weak. I’m not saying they should change. But it would be interesting for example to do an underground level of the same factory, with more dangerous, powerful and much more challenging mandalorians for those who are in high level or reached the limit of the caps.

They should have equipment, skills and level of challenge to make players think twice about going there alone. Having a challenge point not by the amount of mobs, but by their quality, so that even a group of players would have trouble facing one or two mandalorians alone. The more you explore an entire dungeon full of them.

This would be interesting at lore levels, because it would imply that the main level of the surface is only for small fry. In the underground levels they would have mandalories that could be really dangerous, challenging, and if they go out to see what’s causing confusion, players would have serious problems.

In terms of roleplaying, it would be important because it could be a great counterpoint to everyone who has already achieved the caps. They could be nemesis of certain players, encouraging them to have some new goals. For factions, they could be enemies or allies. For dms, they could have their npcs (named) among these mandalorian leaders and occasionally have confrontation with certain people, groups or areas for roleplaying reasons to develop server history.

We need several checkpoints. Npcs jedis, siths, mandalorians and others to serve as reference, opposition, mentors or allies, depending on the history and personality of each server pc. It would be interesting to do this with npcs mandalorians as well as other types of pcs.

It’s been noted that creatures do not currently respond to others being attacked nearby. I know Zunath has been working on it with the rest of his workload. It’s not a thing of design, but more of a “this needs someone to make it so.”

Didn’t Mith figure out how to fix this on Arelith?
