“Let this be a weapon against the darkness, a beacon of hope when all hope is lost.” The words he spoke as he ignited his lightsaber for the first time would be forever in mind.
The lightsaber he had crafted under the supervision of Master Landyn Kelldra and his own master, Jedi Knight Sandra Mana. His master spoke the ancient words of the “Crystal Code” as he assembled the components, guided by the Force as was tradition for countless generations of Jedi.
“The crystal is the heart of the blade.
The heart is the crystal of the Jedi.
The Jedi is the crystal of the Force.
The Force is the blade of the heart.
All are intertwined.
The crystal, the blade, the Jedi.
You are one.”
As his hand closed around the cylindrical hilt of the weapon, it was as if a missing piece had been finally put into place. It felt … natural to him.
He could feel the connection he had with crystal that was at the core of the weapon, a crystal of a pure blue color, that he had carried with him for some time.
