Doctor V
“Still got all your digits? No missing limbs? Oh, good.”
Most doctors are professional, polite, courteous and seem rather well educated. Most doctors even would be friendly and sincere, or have noble ambitions or secret desires to make incredible things happen for the glory of science.
Not Vasham.
Vasham is a vagrant ship-doctor who would work for the highest bidder; which usually was pretty high. A doctor aboard any ship was a blessing, from treating burns and spills to replacing arms and limbs. His skill with surgery honed less through strict study and more through having to physically attend to the wounded of terrible ship battles and sometimes even captors meant that the young man’s knowledge isn’t all there; but he can patch you up and even make you new limbs for a price.
Born to a human couple of traders who navigated the stars selling whatever they could get their hands on, his parents discovered their child was force sensitive when he was young, but were on the wrong side of the law to hand him over without fearing for their own safety. So instead, they tried to turn their lives around for Vashams sake so that one day he could live ‘on the right side of things’, and did their best to inspire him toward them as much as possible.
Since his parents unfortunate deaths at the hands of a boarding party during a raid, for a while he was forced to work as a ships medic for nefarious sorts and ne’er do wells.
He has since escaped, on a ship he stole, and now has landed in the system, seeking to apply his medical knowledge, locate Jedi and help them, and explore his own strange gifts that he’s been practicing since he was young. While not especially talented for combat, Doctor “V” tends to be rather driven to excelling in what he does.
